Yoga or moving your body in any form of exercise pertinent to remaining healthy and fit. Our bodies are made to move and the hormonal changes that occur when we exercise have a positive affect on our mind.
Most days I have a nutritious smoothie for breakfast or lunch. I've found this is a great quick and easy way to get in lots of nutrients and eat something delicious and filling. I believe firmly in functional nutrition in order to eat clean, fuel my body, feel good and still enjoy eating!
Packing school lunches has been a weekday occurrence in our house for the past 2 years. My daughter tends to like a routine and will request the same specific foods for a couple weeks and then she is ready to change things up.
